2026 Corvette Raffle

The Lake Mahopac Rotary Club is excited to launch its annual Corvette Raffle on Saturday, May 2, at the CVS Plaza in Mahopac, where tickets will be sold on weekends from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The ticket prices are $100 for a single ticket or $250 for three tickets.

The drawing for the 2026 Corvette will be held on Sunday, July 12, at 12 Noon in the Mahopac Library parking lot.

The Prizes besides the 2026 Corvette , includes $1,000 for second place, $500 for third place and $250 for fourth place.

Additionally, early bird purchases will be entered into a $1,000 early bird drawing, which will take place during the Rotary Club's regular meeting on June 24.

The proceeds from ticket sales will support the Rotary Foundation's community projects, school scholarships, and charitable initiatives.

Tickets additionally can be obtained weekdays during business hours at Sullivan Insurance located at 421 Route 6, Mahopac, NY.

ONLY 2000 tickets will be sold.

The Happenings LIVE in Mahopac

The Happenings featuring Original Lead Singer Bob Miranda will take center stage on May 8th headlining the 12th Annual Rock & Roll Spectacular at the Mahopac High School Auditorium starting 7 PM.

Known for their mega hits "See You In September", "I Got Rhythm" and "Go Away Little Girl", The Happenings will be joined on stage for this fundraiser by another iconic 1960s group - The Vogues, singing all of their fabulous hits.

Vinnie Medugno of MusicRadio WABC will share the stage with these musical legends singing many memorable hits of the 60s era.

Vinnie Medugno, a dynamic entertainer whose voice captures the spirit of classic American pop. May 8th will see the appearance of The Vogues appearing at the 12th Annual Lake Mahopac Rotary Club's 12th Annual Rock & Roll Spectacular taking place at the Mahopac High School Auditorium starting at 7 PM.

With their unmistakable harmonies and smooth pop style, The Vouges have delivered a string of timeless hits including "You're The One", "Five O'Clock World", "Turn Around, Look At Me", and "My Special Angel".

Joining The Vogues on stage in their May 8th performance will be The Happenings in addition to Vinnie Medugno, all performing the great hits of the 1960s!

2nd Annual East Coast Pro Wrestling Show

Tickets are now on sale for the Lake Mahopac Rotary Club's Second Annual East Coast Pro Wrestling fundraising event, featuring former WWE Stars NUNZIO and AFA Jr., along with WWE Hall of Famer TITO SANTANA.

Three championship title matches and a 20-man over-the-top battle royal will highlight this action-packed night on Saturday, April 11, at the Mahopac High School Gymnasium, with a 7 PM bell time.

Former WWE Wrestlers signed for fundraising show...

The Lake Mahopac Rotary Club is thrilled to announce that former WWE wrestlers Nunzio and Afa Jr. will participate in our 2nd Annual East Coast Pro Wrestling Show, scheduled to take place on April 11th at the Mahopac High School gymnasium, commencing at 7 PM.

Nunzio is celebrated for his accomplishments in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he achieved the distinction of being a two-time ECW World Tag Team Champion and a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Afa Jr., a member of the esteemed Samoan Dynasty, which includes his cousins Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Roman Reigns and The Usos, will also participate. It is noteworthy that Afa Jr.'s father was Afa of The Wild Samoans tag team of the WWE.

WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Tito Santana will make a special appearance as a guest referee at this fundraising event.

Boy Scouts community service...

Boy Scouts from Troop 1 and Cubs from Pack 71 helped replace worn American flags from veterans graves this morning in Mahopac.

This community service project was inspired in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King as part of the Greater Hudson Valley's scouting initiative.

East Coast Pro Wrestling Show

The Lake Mahopac Rotary Club announces that WWE Hall of Fame wrestler - Tito Santana - has just been signed to appear at our 2nd Annual East Coast Pro Wrestling Show taking place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Mahopac High School gymnasium located at 421 Baldwin Place Road, Mahopac starting 7 PM.

Santana, inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004, captured multiple championships during his career which included WWF Intercontinental Championship and the WWF Tag Team Championship, in addition to having competed in the first-ever WrestleMania.

Santana will be serving as a special guest referee in his appearance at our fundraising show here in Mahopac, NY.

The Lake Mahopac Rotary Club, along with the Mahopac High School Interact Club, received approximately 450 coat donations for those in need. We appreciate the tireless efforts of Rotarian Dr. Chris Perrone and the Interact Club in facilitating this successful coat drive!

During our October 15th luncheon, the Lake Mahopac Rotary Club was proud to present $28,500 in grants to a number of outstanding nonprofit organizations serving our local community.

This year's grant recipients include:

Second Chance Foods, Putnam Community Action Partnership, P/NW Women's Resource Center, Putnam County Children's Committee, CoveCare Center, Putnam Communities That Care Coalition, Putnam Arts Council, Putnam Service Dogs, BluePath Service Dogs, Putnam Humane Society, Putnam County SPCA, Prevention Council of Putnam, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding and Putnam Chorale.

These organizations exemplify Rotary's mission of "Service Above Self" through their continued dedication of improving lives throughout Putnam County.

On August 5th, the Lake Mahopac Rotary Club took part in the Town of Carmel Police Department's National Night Out.

The club enjoyed interacting with attendees and spreading awareness about Rotary's community events.
